Oscar Sommerfors, the sales guy
This week we’re catching up with Oscar Sommerfors, our new sales guy who is the latest addition to our brewery. We don’t know too much about Oscar yet, considering he only joined us a couple of months ago. It's hard to get to know him as he spends most of his time out of the office galavanting through Sweden introducing himself, getting to know our Swedish customers and doing what he does best, selling beer.
Restaurant Piga
This week we crossed the river to Restaurant Piga, one of our longest and most loyal customers. They do good quality, seasonal based Swedish food that has a modern touch to it. Each staff member is an expert in their field, they know what they have and what they do best. Somehow they manage to get it right for you every time. So when you visit Piga, sit back and relax, and let them take care of you. We talk over with Majsan what Piga is all about, our history, their ‘The Day Laborer’ concept, and of course Supporting your locals.
Jeremy Batt, who really loves Sake
This week we’re catching up with Jeremy Batt, who is fairly new to the world of Craft Beer, but is for sure a fast learner. He joined us in 2019 as our packaging dude and delivery guy but swiftly made his way into becoming our Canning Operator guru and Warehouse Administrator. We’re lucky to have him.
Beer Release #294. Make tiny changes to Earth – Session IPA
Our latest IPA is tiny. We wanted to create a new low ABV beer, that was hazy, full-bodied and heavily dry-hopped. We threw Azacca, Amarillo, Columbus and Citra hops at it, which gives you aromas of stone fruit and ripe citrus. It’s fermented on London Fog yeast, amping up the haziness and even more of those fruity flavours.
Ölrepubliken
Last week we caught up with our long time friends Ölrepubliken, the bar we launched our very first beer at. We chat about the famous beer tastings, their many, many beers, and of course Supporting your locals.
Our Tap Room is closed until further notice, due to Covid-19.
Due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19 and the recent Swedish Government guidelines, we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily close our Brewery Tap Room and put a pause on Private Events for the foreseeable future.
Riccardo Bof, an Italian with a Scottish accent.
This week we’re catching up with Riccardo. Don’t let his Scottish accent and love for Whisky fool you, he is actually from the North East of Italy in a small town that is too small to mention, but it’s somewhere in the Province of Treviso.
Tapasbaren
This week we walked down the road from our brewery to catch up with the wonderful people at Tapasbaren. We sat down at our favourite corner table in their new enclosed outdoor seating area, taking in the warm and calm ambience with a view through the windows onto the charming streets of Majorna.
October. Beerbliotek Monthly Tap Room Roundup
Busy nights, weekly rotating beer menus, two beer releases, revisiting old recipes and some new guidelines. Things are slowly but surely getting back to normal at our Brewery Tap Room. This is the Beerbliotek Tap Room roundup for October.
Sky Andreasson. We’re still not sure where she is from
This week we’re catching up with Sky, the one who looks after all of us and somehow manages to smooth out all the craziness while making sure things go according to plan. She is destined for good luck with a random talent of finding four-leaf clovers. In fact, she has 3 right now in her wallet.
