We’re looking forward to the GBG Beer Week and our Berliner Range is growing slowly but surely – Weekly Update
This long weekend could not have come at a better time. It’s always good with some time off, which means time to actually drink some beer, not just making the stuff.
This week we released the third version in our Berliner range, called ”What’s the difference between Marmalade and Jam?”. Our Brand & Marketing Manager Darryl actually enjoys illustrating the labels on the outside, as much as the brewers love creating the beer on the inside. We hope you like both.
In the third version we added Raspberries and Mint. As you may remember the other two were called ”A Passion for Gingers” with Passion Fruit & Ginger, and ”I Lost my Cherry by the Salty Sea” with Sour Cherries & Sea Salt. The base recipe for all of them closely resembles our standard Berliner ”Berliner Wise-Guy”. We’re hoping to continue with these, as we’ve received some very positive reviews on them. A Passion for Gingers will be available at Systembolaget to order as of the 1st of May 2016.
A reminder from last week for all our customers, that SwedBeer.se has now launched, and below we’ve got some more information on another way to order our beer.
This week we’ve also announced two new events we’ll be having during the Gothenburg Beer Week. The first is a Vegetarian Beer Makers Dinner which only has 10 places available, followed the next day by Beerbliotek & Ska Brewing’s Ska Party which has space for 120 people. Read below for more information.

A five course vegetarian dinner prepared by the one and only Styrbjörn Såtvik at Björns Bar, whilst the matching beer for each course has been chosen by Beerbliotek’s head brewer Adam Norman.

Beerbliotek and SKA Brewing’s SKA Party!
Ska Brewing will be in town for the Gothenburg Beer Week and we took the opportunity to kidnap them for a night. Why not join us for the night at our Kungsten Brewery? There will be music, food, beer and friends, which guarantees a good time.

Haket Beer Festival 2016.

Upcoming Festivals
Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival on the 1st and 2nd of April
This year will be the first time that we’re heading south, to our friends at the Malmö Beer & Whisky Festival. We’re truly looking forward to meeting the beer drinking public in Malmö. We’ll be bringing with us some cans, and then as always we’ll be packing some collaborations and some experimental stuff. So don’t miss out.

Actually Anders will again make his way to Växjö. Which beers he’s brining with him is still not clear, but there will definitely be one or two surprises.

Copenhagen Beer Celebration 13-14 May 2016
We’re happy to announce that we have been invited to this year’s Copenhagen Beer Celebration, held on the 13th and 14th of May. The beers we’re taking with us are still in the works and they will be announced closer to the time. So watch this space.
