Hip Hops

Hip Hops was the twelfth IPA we brewed. That’s if you exclude Pale Ales and Double IPAs. At the time we brewed it, the Hipster trend was just about in full swing here in Sweden, and we decided to do something about it.
That’s where the beer gets its name from, cause we used the current Hipster Hops, or all the Hops that the Hipster were drinking at the time. Citra, Cascade, Columbus, etc. It needed to be a big beer.

A hops aromatic taste with a clear bitterness, hints of Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Mandarin, light syrup and Clover flowers.

Hip Hops contains a combination of what we consider to be the current “Hipster Hops”. A clean malt profile of Pale Malt and Carapils leaves a crisp clean finish, allowing the hops to really shine.

First release date: 2014-09-30
Style: West Coast IPA
Alc: 6,0%

We are Beerbliotek

A Craft Brewery founded in Gothenburg (Sweden) by four friends from different parts of the world. Our brewing philosophy is simple… keep brewing new beers that we, ourselves, would want to drink.

Our name is derived from the Latin word bibliothēca, meaning library, or a collection of books. A Beerbliotek, for us, would then mean a beer library, or a collection of beer.
